THE PATRICK WISE SR MEMORIAL FUND

The Patrick Wise Sr Memorial Scholarship was established in November of 2020 to be awarded to one Blair County High School Senior each year. The qualifications for application include a student who excels in both academics and athletics, actively participates in outdoor activities and has a plan to positively contribute and/or impact the community.

Pat Wise was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He was a son, brother, uncle, husband and father. He was also a business owner and a friend to many. Pat shared his love of the outdoors with anyone he spoke to. Pat taught his family many life lessons being outdoors which is why we (his family) want to encourage young adults to work hard, participate in outdoor activities, give back to the community and more importantly, be kind.

100% of donations will be used towards the fund. Our short-term goal is to raise $5,000 which will allow us to give a $500 Scholarship to a Graduate of the 2021 class.

The Patrick Wise Sr Memorial Fund is being administered by the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation (CPCF) which is a 501 (c)(3).
